an Ignation Catholic lay Organization which gets its inspiration from the life of St. Ignatius of Loyola and his early companions who dedicated their lives to the service of God and the community around them. Spirituality: ZCLC Spirituality is centered on Christ and participation in his life, passion, death and resurrection. ZCLC members treasure the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius as the source and characteristic tool of their Spirituality.
This Community was founded by Jean Leunis SJ and was approved by Pope Gregory the 13th in 1584. Here in Zambia, ZCLC was formed in 1967 and was one of the founding members of the ZNCCL in 1968.
To be committed Christians, bearing witness to those human and gospel values within the church and society which affect the dignity of the person, the welfare of the family and the integrity of Creation.
